a hastily drawn but still appealing promo comic. There are two panels. In the top panel, Bex and her pal Richard smile at the camera. Richard waves while Bex holds up a copy of their comic. Bex says, "I've been working my ass off for most of the last year on a brand new comic! It was written by one of my best friends, Richard Bass, and drawn by me!" Richard says, "hello!" In the second panel, Bex is crying drawing at her desk. She wails, "How the heck do I draw an explosion???" Future Bex puts a hand on the bakc of her chair and says towards the camera, "I honestly think it's the best comic art I've ever drawn. I had to learn a lot of new things for this and I think it paid off."
