Finishing up Poetry column number 2 for the local paper which features a chat with @victoriawrites.bsky.social about her forthcoming book, “Unburying the Bones,” the role of poetry in everyday experience, and the value of community.

I have a piece up at South 85 Journal about divorce, turtles, the ocean, & finding the way back to myself.

Overjoyed that this piece is on the Editor’s Choice Award Long List. If it wins, the funds will go to my tattoo removal piggy bank!

After I received an MFA in creative writing, one of the hardest things to do was keep the momentum going. Tips to keep the motor running:
1. Create monthly workshops w/ writer friends I trusted
2. Write X amount of words per week
