I wrote this the night before the 2nd ceasefire was announced. Poetic timing? Maybe. All I know for sure is that everything I address in this poem is connected. You can not fight for one without the others. . .

Today marks the two-year anniversary of the horrific October 7 attack.
As we mourn the 1,218 lives lost that day, let us also keep alive the dream of a lasting peace and a better future for all.
Ceasefire now. Every hostage must come home. And a safer world for everyone.
It’s almost like allowing companies to have monopolies deteriorates the quality of service/products and allows them to raise their costs however high they want. Who’d have ever seen that being a consequence?
