In regards to self help specifically a long time ago I read a productivity book and found a lot of it to not be that applicable. Only after reflecting on it a couple of years later did I realise a guy writing about productivity is creating a circular environment not applicable to my regular life

I'm going a little bonkers, I can't help but look at this and think that maybe people have fallen in love with the idea of looking at themselves as artists instead of having fallen in love with putting a paint brush to a canvas and going "holy fuck it's blue now"

AND IT'S NEVER LIKE "hello, here's a practical way to use a tool that is useful/niche but interesting and maybe a jumping off point" it's always "HOW TO MAKE ART TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE, ART ABOUT ART WITHOUT EVER MAKING ART, THE WORD ART WITH NO ACTUAL COMMUNICATION"

There's a certain youtube video autofellatio at the moment that keeps coming up of people making content about making content. You have intellectually sucked yourself off on camera WHICH IS FINE but youtube won't stop recommending it to me despite never watching it.

This news will be someones tipping point to radicalisation

I've reported 2-3 stories in my career that have sucked the spirit out of my body and this was one of them. But! Seeing the response of the fgc to help their brother genuinely put it right back. Im humbled to have been trusted with this. Help your neighbors friends those in need are all around you.
