One of the many benefits of donating grain to a local farmer is having fresh eggs. We love our farmer friends so much!

Today we released a barley wine that we brewed 3 years ago. It was tucked away and forgotten as we built our new space. It weathered the storm that destroyed our building prior to our opening and rebuild.

I get the sentiment, but for most breweries it actually costs more to produce an N.A. beer (additional equipment for removing alcohol, additional equipment & qc testing because there’s no alcohol to keep it safe from pathogens, but same grain bill, can cost, packaging cost).

The other side of that can is from the Lincoln Memorial- we were reading and quietly weeping when a woman approached us to share the photo that she took of us.

One of the ways we’re trying to keep our heads above water as a new small brewery is producing & packaging NA beverages for other local businesses. Keeps our tanks & equipment busy and supports other small businesses while capitalizing on emerging trends.

We’re working with a local coffee company and a soda company to produce and package their products. We actually had to start bc a storm took the roof off of our taproom just months before we were set to open. We went mobile to a commercial kitchen during the repairs.

Should add that we are a very small-scale brewery which has made it possible for us to pivot in ways that maybe are more difficult for larger breweries.

As one of the few that opened in 2024 after a massive amount of setbacks (from Mother Nature to contract brewing gone wrong), we’re holding on for dear life… and finding ways to use our equipment for more than just beer.
