Pleased to have lunch with senior leaders from the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University Singapore today to discuss digital technology and AI in education.

Today, as part of my Ruth Wong Visiting Professorship, I had a wonderful conversation with Heads of Departments from across the National Institute of Education at NTU, Singapore. We discussed issues related to data, technology, neuroscience, knowledge, interdisciplinary & AI in Education

Over the next two weeks I’ll be in Singapore at the National Institute of Education NIE as the Dr Ruth Wong Visiting Professor. Ruth Wong was a passionate educationalist and pioneer. I am honoured to hold a visiting professorship I’m her name.

AI is dreaming up millions of new materials. Are they any good? Critics slammed attempts by Google, Microsoft and Meta to speed up materials discovery. But behind the hype, there is progress.
