I just got another possible interview opportunity, and the sheer comedy that I, the person who infamously isn't that into horror, keep getting invited to and opportunities to horror and horror adjacent things is unmatched.

Is Avengers: Doomsday An Overreaction To Underperforming Post-Endgame? The recent creative decisions regarding Avengers: Doomsday are playing it safe. Is this an overreaction to Marvel underperforming post-Endgame and in 2023?

Rumor is that #Marvel is going to release multiple #AvengersDoomsday trailers attached to #AvatarFireAndAsh to try and get people to see it more than once. The fact that people think #Avatar is rewatchable baffles me. There are so many easier ways to get a migraine. Just don't drink any water.

I got to see #28YearsLater: #TheBoneTemple last month, and what an experience. Deeply unsettling and disturbing, yet also weirdly funny and hopeful. All eyes will be on Jack and Ralph, but Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry are amazing and the quiet MVPs of the entire film.

#AvatarFireAndAsh is a visual masterpiece. If you love these movies, it's more of the same, but story-wise, it's the same "capture/rescue" plot over and over again with some laughable dialogue thrown in the middle. The runtime is criminal, and if you have eye issues, avoid the 3D.

Spoiler alert: the answer is capitalism. The thing that is ruining almost everything in the world is capitalism.

"Running out of stories to tell one another" has got to be one of the dumbest things I've seen from a major outlet in a hot minute.

For all the people acting smug about #WakeUpDeadMan not showing in enough theaters, they should look up the date when the two-movie Netflix deal was finalized. Spoiler alert: we were heading into the second year of a certain pandemic, and the future exhibition was in question.

I'm sure there's another event out there that has picked up the slack, and I might seek it out in a couple of days or later this month, but today, I'm just going to be a little sad that an event I was part of for so long no longer exists.

It taught me that I had to get over myself and that no first draft would be good, but you can't edit something that doesn't exist. It taught me how to do volunteer work, like you cannot crowd-source anything, and you have to just pick things, and everyone has to deal with it.

NaNo has been a major part of over half of my life. It taught me how to trust my own talent as a writer and that if I let the words flow, they will come. It taught me how to hyperfocus and write fast.

I went to the dentist today and told my hygienist I was seeing #BlackPhone2. She wasn't sure about seeing it in theaters because she sometimes gets a little screamy in horror movies. Ma'am, horror movies, more than anything, thrive in packed theaters with people reacting around you.

Thanks to an informal experiment I've been conducting, early findings suggest that the best way to prevent YouTube from radicalizing young men is to watch K-Pop content. Apparently, the rapture is happening on the 23rd, and the poetic irony that I'll be prepping for a colonoscopy on that day is hilarious.
