This bill is in danger of being pushed through without public understanding of the threat it poses to nature recovery. Don’t ’leave this to the boffins’! Read the letter and take up these points with your local MP to ensure the bill is amended or scrapped pending a complete rethink.

In its current form the bill threatens the survival of vulnerable species and the connectedness and resilience of UK landscapes, while undermining the importance of biodoversity and access to nature where people live and work for the essential benefits to physical and mental health that this brings.
