Should I ever stumble across an unintentional usage of “saucy little wonton” it’ll be akin to finding the holy grail for this typo. 🥟🥟🥟

I have a lot of thoughts today because I’ve been reading fanfic instead of working. But one thing I LOVE about fanfic is something can have bad spelling/grammar/editing but can still be so compelling and funny and make you cry and that’s so nice. To not be polished but still be enjoyable is amazing.

A drive-to-school discussion on the merits of a “meet-cute” vs a “meet ugly” in storytelling led to me explaining the entire plot of Pride & Prejudice — during which I coined the phrase “proposal (derogatory)” to describe Mr. Darcy’s first attempt at landing the inestimable Miss Bennet.

The “you’re are obviously lying about GRRM’s Winds of Winter not being finished yet” bit during the prison riot scene in Logan Lucky gets better every year.
