No Kings As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power ...

Well, this should be a record-breaking day nokings.org

Live Updates: U.S. and Israel Conduct Strikes on Iran

The United States and Israel launched a joint strike against Iran, an act of war without Congressional approval. This is a crime against the American people.

Trump is working with a genocidal regime to start another bloody war in the Middle East. Congress must vote to block further strikes now

NEW. This is an elementary girls school in the city of Hormozgan in Iran.

In the last hour, it was hit by a US/Israeli missile attack.

So far, 24 young girls are confirmed dead [SOURCE: Al Jazeera].

The US has just committed a war crime.

The ICE surge in Minnesota cost $280M to detain 4k people. Of those- only 30 were accused of violent crimes.

$9 million per capture of the "worst of the worst".

Renee Good and Alex Pretti were unavailable for comment….

The Other Red Hat (You'll like this one better)

February 26 is an important date in the history of resistance, and it has to do with knitters during WWII. Come read the story. If you’re a knitter, maybe you’ll want to cast on with me tomorrow? And if you aren’t, there are other ideas for you here. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

The Vatican flatly rejected a U.S. invitation to join the Trump-led "Board of Peace" for Gaza. The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem previously described the project as "a colonialist operation" focused on "others deciding for the Palestinians.”

Congress will vote to lower the age to prosecute minors as adults from 16 down to 14 in DC.

Let me get this straight:

Congress wants to prosecute 14 yr. olds as adults, but they don’t want to prosecute adults who sexually abuse 14 year olds?

Release the Epstein files.

For those who think it important for the Nation to impose more tariffs, I understand that today's decision will be dis-appointing. All I can offer them is that most major decisions affecting the rights and responsibilities of the American people (including the duty to pay taxes and tariffs) are funneled through the legislative process for a reason. Yes, legislating can be hard and take time. And, yes, it can be tempting to bypass Congress when some pressing problem arises. But the deliberative nature of the legislative process was the whole point of its design. Through that process, the Nation can tap the combined wisdom of the people's elected representatives, not just that of one faction or man. There, deliberation tempers impulse, and compromise hammers disagreements into workable solutions. And because laws must earn such broad support to survive the legislative pro-cess, they tend to endure, allowing ordinary people to plan their lives in ways they cannot when the rules shift from day to day. In all, the legislative process helps ensure each of us has a stake in the laws that govern us and in the Nation's future. For some today, the weight of those virtues is apparent. For others, it may not seem so obvious. But if history is any guide, the tables will turn and the day will come when those disappointed by today's result will appreciate the legislative process for the bulwark of liberty it is.

These words by Supreme Justice Gorsuch should be printed, in full, on tomorrow’s front pages.

Ossoff: "There are some folks who are doomscrolling in the fetal position. Every day there is a new outrage. It's easy I know to fear that maybe we could lose our republic. I think what John Lewis would tell us is it's up to us. We have the power to right the ship. Nobody is gonna do it for us."
