I just upgraded from an iPhone 11 to a 17 Plus and man, the difference is stark. It’s hard to say how the phones would compare when new—it certainly seems like my iPhone 11 slowed down a lot over the years—but many things have improved significantly (camera, speakers, AI, USB-C, etc). #iphone #tech

They let a nationwide injunction kill Biden’s student loan relief when they had a chance to rule on it.

Obviously we can talk about Hillary’s sins (or the progressive abstainers) without invoking fascism, and indeed I suspect invoking the term for everything under the sun had a crying-wolf effect that made many Americans ambivalent when an actual fascist tried to over the government.

Yes, I agree that Hillary’s support for expanded powers was short-sighted, but it was neither fascist nor fascist adjacent. Lots of things led us to this moment, including many progressives abstaining from voting in 2024—are they also fascists for paving the road?

But my specific objection was to the identity politics nonsense. Fostering divisions among Democrats is doing Trump’s work for him, particularly considering that there’s nothing about Hillary’s participation here that diminishes queer/trans people.

Sure, and yet I would prefer a big tent victory over self-righteous defeat. If she wants to spend her not insignificant political capital advocating for Democrats against Republicans in important elections, I’m not going to finger wag.

I don’t disagree. The 2024 campaign was a shot show from soup to nuts, but precisely none of the problem was a failure to pander to the progressive left.
