You can just somewhat disobey USB pinout specs and use those. Mini and micro USB are supposedly rated at 30V and 1A, usb-c 20V at 3A.

Mini USB:
Gnd as Gnd
VBus as 12V
D+ as mic +
D- as mic -
ID as plug in detection

Just be careful to not plug in actual USB device...
