As long as it gets people’s attention and spreads awareness, it’s a step in the right direction. The questions now are: How do we build and maintain a focused, organized, and coordinated effort?

This is one reason why I no longer believe in a just and loving God. I think more people in the United States should at least consider atheism. I believe that we’re at a point in our country where, at minimum, we should be skeptical about God’s existence.

I spent the day in the Dallas area. It was a very short trip. I want up there for a memorial service for my godmother.
It felt awkward being an agnostic atheist in a church. I also noticed something that disturbed me during the service: I’m pretty sure that they had a Christian flag.

I enjoyed this. It reminds me of a dream I had: I was in the desert, and I was trying to escape from fires that were popping up everywhere. I see a woman with red hair, dressed in gold standing in front of me. The flames engulf us both. And that’s how it ended.

It’s a bummer that I can’t go around using Spider Man to justify my actions. It’s really an unfair double standard.

At first my thinking was we need to stick with “acceptable” protests, preferring nonviolent resistance, but @whoa-magic.lol makes a good point.

I’m on the fence with this statement. I agree that there are a lot of religious people that are mentally ill. But it seems to me that religion is a byproduct of something more like a psycho-social imbalance.

I hope that Trump never reaches Hitler levels of depravity, but if he does (I’m not saying that he will) his supporters would find a way to be ok with it. Even fascism lite is bad for you.

Trump’s supporters would counter be saying things like: “Well, he hasn’t killed over six million Jews,”’or “He never said he was a fascist.”
I think his supporters are missing the point. The fact that you can make these comparisons in themselves is bad enough.
