Officially less than 10% left in “Crime and Punishment” 😭😭 my current thought is that I feel more accomplished to have read it than happy that I did. It was fairly solid. The philosophical commentary was my favorite but quite a few parts dragged on with seemingly endless dialogue 😩

The University of Arkansas rescinded a job offer for Emily Suski, a prospective law school dean, after she signed an amicus brief in our Supreme Court case supporting a transgender teen banned from playing sports.

I’ve spent the last few years finding my love of reading again, but in the new year I want get back to watching films. Finally got around to watching “Malcolm X,” and I feel that old passion for film resurfacing

For the most part I’ve liked the long dialogues. Only some parts I’m like okay wrap it up 😂 I want to get to Anna Karenina next year

This is my first lengthy Russian lit, and I’d say it’s been a pretty accessible journey. It can be dense in some parts. Dialogue can run on for pages and pages 😭 but I haven’t had a hard time understanding what’s going on

If you haven’t read “Woman at Point Zero” by Nawal El Saadawi I highly encourage you to! I’m ready to call her a favorite author after just one book…
