The smile he gets is full of warmth, but again, there's that strange gleam in Hoseok's eyes. "Remember when I said I might have a solution for you?" He wait until Jimin nods. "Me and my partners have an empty bedroom. It's yours if you want it." For a moment, Jimin can't find anything to say. "We live close enough that it would make the commute a lot easier, and most of the time, either me or Namjoon can give you a lift.' Because they both work at the company. "This way, you won't be disadvantaged compared to the other trainees, and since Namjoon's brother lives in our building and always keeps our fridge full, you'll have homemade meals on top of that." It all sound so good, but, "You know I can't pay any kind of rent, right?" Dancers' wages take into consideration the fact that the company is offering food and board; it will be at least a few years before Jimin makes enough money to cover that kind of expenses. "I was in the exact same situation, remember? I know that." Jimin bites his lip. Part of him want to agree without asking any questions, but he knows it's not possible that such a generous offer comes without strings attached. "Why would you do that?" Hoseok tilts his head, the weight of his assessing gaze heavy on Jimin's face. "For the same reason I offered to coach you: because you're very talented, you work hard, and I want to see what you can do if you*re given the chance."

Jimin lets out a soft snort. "I don't believe you." He blinks at the sudden hurt on Hoseok's face. "I mean, I do, but... I know you think I'm a country bumpkin, but I'm not completely naive. I think you're telling the truth, I just don't believe it's your only reason. Especially not with your partners involved." While Jimin has only met Yoongi in passing, since he works for a different company, it's been enough to make him wonder how the hell things work between the three of them. An all-alpha triad, with all of them on the more dominant side... it <em>shouldn't</em> work. Again, Hoseok gives one of those strange smiles, "What do you want me to say?" "I want to know what I'm getting into." Another strange look, almost like he's proud of Jimin for standing his ground. "We think you might be what we were looking for." "Which is?" "A submissive partner." It's a good thing that Jimin learned, a long time ago, not to get hurt by others' assumptions about him. A good thing that he long stopped feeling any kind of insult every time someone took one look at him and thought he was an omega. Still, he wasn't expecting that from Hoseok. "I'm not submissive." "Not in the instinctual way an omega is, true. But you're coachable." That is, in fact, one of the reason Hoseok offered to take Jimin under his wing, early into the audition process. "And once I noticed, I couldn't keep that to myself."
