Although, a separate X queue that is four-stacks only and works like brawlhalla 2s (separate placements and elo for each group of players) would also be really really cool

I mean yeah, at least in my case this isn’t something that makes me not want duo queuing. If anything it would increase the average quality of the practice? And it would only be comms between two people so it wouldn’t be crazy

Ok but I want to make it clear that I’m not asking for a separate game mode where you can duo queue, I want to be able to duo queue WITHIN the X rank gamemode, like you can in every other competitive game

Mild counterpoint from me, it’s technically always optimal to 5-stack in a game like Val or overwatch, but there are many more people not playing in stacks than playing in them. I think people would still play X alone, I just want to be able to get good practice with a duo

no like. in X rank, you can queue with just one other person. normal x rank stuff otherwise

I mean like you could limit duo queuing to within a certain rank/xp range, and you’d still be playing the games

Duo/trio/stack queuing is the standard in most other multiplayer games
