A little pear tree planted to honor my dog.

My senior dog who passed away yesterday was named Rocket but we called him “Little Bear”. We planted a tree in his honor just before he died cuz it was a “little pear” tree.

It bloomed this morning for the first time. 💛

It’s the coolest old house. I walk by it a lot and stare enviously at that grass. Of course in California that grass only lasts a few months. Still it’s awesome.

I have started some heirloom tomatoes and I’m a sucker for weird cucumbers, got some white ones. And eggplants and lots of peppers. Always pumpkin and squash. I saved a ton of seeds from last year might get some interesting hybrids. Planted marigolds and daisies and sunflowers.
