I stepped off the train in the City of Washington and mine eyes set upon a horror that I can barely put to words. A youth on a horseless chariot did what the locals call “pop a wheelie” and it was thunderous and sulfurous and I have retreated to a sanatorium in the green hills.

I painted some fans a while back ago but had felt like something was missing, fast forward to a year or so later. I added some rope details to frame and handle and now I feel like it's gotten to the point where I'm happy with it ☺️

Front and back parts of the corset, put on the dressmaking mannequin and wrapped with a belt to keep them together

Same corset wrapped in the same belt, but instead of the mannequin, put on myself, to test the fitting, appearing and comfortability

This week has been VERY slow, but we are getting there anyway! Fit test of the whole corset, remarking the form and border lines, and the front deco of the cuirass is also finished (one whole morning spent modelling each individual petal of each individual flower a bit...)
