Really challenging week so far. Everything that could have gone to shit has done, and it's threatening to undo everything I've done to dig myself out of the mental health hole in the first place.

Really loved this! Listened to it in three sessions over the past weekend. It made me really miss my copy of RR5. Ridge Racer is one of those franchises that I just never seem to have out of my head for longer than a couple of days.

I'll resub to Retro when my income stabilises again!

Especially good news after dealing with the worst roof leak I've ever seen at my job yesterday. Ten hours straight with no breaks or food trying to, literally, stem the tide of destruction. Really weird that all disasters in that place wait for me to be in 🫠

I grabbed my PSVR2 from my dad's and I'm currently watching my girlfriend experience Rez's Area X for the first time. Such a magical experience to witness, let alone play it.

Expedition 33 is insanely good. Some of the strongest visual designs I think I've ever seen. Even my better half is in awe of the presentation of it all.

This is why I stopped following football as much as I did. It's painful watching Brighton. Zero consistency, same old mistakes. I wish them the best but good lord, it's not for me.

I never even owned an Xbox at the time, I played it on the rare multiplayer session at a friend's house. I did, however, play the Silent Cartographer PC demo to death. It always had this mystical magic quality of the game that got away, the game I missed in the moment.
They can't remake that, obvs.

The more I think about this the more I realise that Halo CE is intrinsically linked with the original Xbox visuals, at least for me. Nostalgia plays a large part in this one for sure, but seeing that original game's visuals sparks something in me I can't describe.

I'm back at work after 10 weeks off with depression, and within 30 minutes at my desk, I'm feeling my blood boil and fighting to not undo everything I'd achieved on my time off.
Never had such a clear picture as to why I need to get out.

I have a very long way to go before I'm even remotely fluent but I'm learning to actually feel proud about things I accomplish.
A second language has been something I've wanted to learn for a very long time!

In my case, I suffered severe burnout from work and spiralled from there, eventually believing I offered nothing to anyone. Brains are total ass holes.
I'm doing much better now though, thank you! My other really looked after me.

Mario Kart World is stunning. FAST is unbelievable. Ridge Racer is perfection. Previous games at 60fps is wonderful. Switch 2 is one of my favourite system launches, and favourite systems already. I've loved every moment with it!

The real winner of the Switch 2 is Jack Merluzzi

F-Zero GX with a brand new GC pad... this is just the BEST.

Up until I plugged it into the dock. I'm having major issues with eARC not working 😭

Got a 100% save file now. I liked it more as I got better at it, but it's nowhere near my favourite (Bloodlines). On to Symphony!
