I’m forced to take five years of a language (oddly, this needs to happen in four years) just to graduate and I hate one of the two Spanish teachers and I would have to have her for at least three years so I take French (also my French teacher is awesome) (also German might be easier and more useful)

French is so weird because instead of saying “it’s cloudy” they say “there are the clouds” and instead of “it is hot” they say “it do hot”

Thought the front coordinator (aka the guy who writes our music) was finally giving me a break during the closer but it was actually another solo

We got off the plane 4 hours ago here’s some of what’s happened:
-mom went to pick us up at the drop off place not the pick up place so we got yelled at by a guy with a gun
-mom yelled at me and called me a spoiled brat when I wanted to sleep in a bed tonight
-mom yelled at me for being rude to her

I’ve been traveling for over ten hours and it’s not even 10am :(

I want lunch but it’s 7:01am :(

It’s so early that my daily games app thinks it’s yesterday still

I love how my grandma sends me (a bassoonist/pianist) a message that says “switching to tuba??” and then sends a picture of a trombone

I actually didn’t get cooked at drum major auditions this is astonishing

Every time I open my phone it’s like “BREAKING NEWS” and then follows it up with either not breaking news or the worst thing I’ve ever heard

Getting to high school means watching all your friends get into relationships while you maybe have a crush on a guy but you’re not really sure and it doesn’t even matter because he certainly thinks you’re weird and not in the cute way and you rarely talk to him and you just want to matter to someone

The secretary of the doctors office I’m in saw me smiling at my phone and said “texting a boy?? 😏” and I don’t have the heart to tell her I’m reading Spider-Man famfiction

Rehearsal is so fun because sometimes I’m playing the whole time and my feet hurt but then other times I barely play and I sit on the ground and my butt gets cold

I love going to rehearsal and pretending the whole country isn’t completely falling apart
