Northumberland Roman Fort mystery over large shoes
Eight of the Roman shoes are at least 30cm (11.8in) long - the equivalent of a UK size 13 to 14.

A few days ago, the closing slab of an untouched Etruscan tomb was removed by archaeologists in the necropolis of San Giuliano (Barbarano Romano, Lazio). The burial chamber is from the 7th century BC.
Can you imagine the emotion entering this tomb, untouched for 2600 years ?
