Because I love this work as much as I love the writing itself, which is something I never thought I'd say about ANY work 5/?

I really hope that as #WeeknightWriters continues to grow, change, and evolve, we can keep this amazing sense of community & keep attracting such awesome, supportive people 4/?

I can honestly say it's a true joy knowing, working with, and being friends with every member of the #WeeknightWriters community - and I know a lot of other community builders aren't this lucky 3/?

And the remarkable thing is how little effort I've had to put into moderating things. By default, the people attracted to #WeeknightWriters are awesome; I've never had to ban anyone or do anything more severe than explaining internet etiquette to folks who are less online 2/?

As #FirstDraftFall comes to a close, I am feeling unbelievably lucky to have attracted such an incredible community of writers

Yes, a lot of it is because of how hard I've worked to make #WeeknightWriters a welcoming & accepting place, but "build it and they will come" doesn't always work 1/?

This makes sense!

I have three backburner WIPs not connected to my big fantasy series, and a couple of spinoff WIPs from my main series as well

Yeah, doing something new after spending a long time in a big series is such a wonderful feeling

I'm really going to have to find a way to balance my big series with other one-off projects because I do NOT think my ADHD will accept just working on *one* series for that many years
