I think if we're going to apply the 'science of learning' to education we need to measure *all* the outcomes, not just the academic ones. Physical and mental health need to be a big part of the conversation. Are children and young people healthy, happy and enjoying learning? #EduSky

Not even half of the students said no, thats alarming! Math and science are essential everywhere!

In our experience most problems with math are coming from not understanding the foundation. If they are already struggling at fourth and fifth grade imagine the problems to come!

Traditional grading practices often fail today's learners.

Real change starts in the middle not at the extremes.

It's time to reform assessment practices to be equitable and reflective of all students, not just those born on 3rd base.

Thats true, grades should only be used to verify true proficiency!

For me grades weren't any motivation at all. Interesting lessons motivated me to learn. But sadly there were and are to many teachers that were only pounding on grades.
