I think it was funny how often Nintendo wanted you to be aware that the GameCube was capable of displaying hundreds of characters at a time. We even got a peak game series out of it.

We love making jokes about the 1920s like "The stock market is going to be great forever!" and "Thank GOD that war is over" because of how horrible the 1930s-40s were.

Imagine how horrifying it would be to watch Tiktoks from 2125 set in 2025. What would they be saying ironically? What's coming?

I know it's not really the point of the game but I find it funny how Minecraft is ~15 years old and has added a ton of QoL and ways to augment combat and armor, but in all that time it still has only *two* bosses

mario kart world's roster is great but becomes a lot less impressive when you consider most of it is made up of already-modeled stage hazards that are probably costumeless. if they genuinely cut the koopalings and diddy and funky i'll be seriously disappointed

I personally find it more impressive when a game uses the limited resources from the system’s hardware to their benefits than any game trying look photorealistic as possible.

I think we should say "games shouldn't be $80" instead of "this game isn't worth $80" because the value of a game is subjective. However, a game priced above $60-70 is objectively bad because it prices a lot of people out of something that they would've enjoyed otherwise.

And I’ve starting seeing some people urge fans to buy a Wii U in retaliation of the Switch 2.

Anyone that thinks it’s gonna go down exactly like the Wii U have no idea what they’re talking about.
