Completely unaware of this guy until today but this is some of the most beautifully strange experimental music I’ve ever heard. Like a broadcast to Earth by aliens who have mistaken the electric guitar for the sound of the human voice.

高円寺ShowBoatにて『灰野敬二 / Jim O’Rourke / Oren Ambarchi 』を聞きました。最後にこのトリオを聞いたのは2018年、場所は今は無き西麻布SuperDeluxeでした。SuperDeluxeではこのトリオに限らず、最高のライブを沢山聞かせてもらったので、ここで改めて感謝したいです。そしてあれから8年ぶりに聞けた訳ですが、やはり素晴らしい。休憩前の前半パートが完璧といえるもので、ここで帰ろうかなと思う程見事でしたが、後半からアンコールまで演奏の強度がこれまた凄い。とても楽しかったです。
