Would have to disagree there mate. Seemed pretty straight up 4 at the back and Ralston did come on to replace JSP in a like for like type swap.

Might be trying him out now that AJ needs surgery. I’d personally rather see Donovan get game time

100%. Has 6 years on Ralston and looks quicker and more accomplished on the ball already.

I’m not sure what Ralston is meant to be good at. The branding of him as a hardy player is miles off I think. Doesn’t have good technique when tackling and stands off far too much.

True but thought he got hung out to dry by Nygren in front of him that day. Constantly had two running at him.

Is Donovan injured? If not, it’s quite strange to leave him out the squad and shoehorn JSP in at RB.

He’s had years of being cut some slack. Shows him the byline first time when it’s what he wants and then lets him inside second goal. He was miles away all night. As he was on Sunday.

Anything above bottom 6 in the league and Ralston is out his depth.

He was dreadful on Sunday but this is another level. He’s so scared to put his foot in.

Why sign him with zero intention of playing him. He was starting every game in the J League - a league probably equal to or better than ours. Now he’s starting in the B team with 17/18 year olds.

Yeah in terms of commitment, we need him to buy into it. A player I always enjoyed watching but something has went drastically wrong last couple of years.

Like you said, if BR can get him going again, he’ll do well.

I’ve gave up trying to understand the rule tbh. I just don’t see how you can give that, the ball plays him.

Like I said, we’ll take all the help we can get just now.

Hopefully we can play ourselves into form eventually.

We would have been unlucky to lose that game but ultimately, we were quite fortunate to win.

Never a handball but we’ll take it.
