Plant roots are the best! We study diverse and crazy cell type developmental programs at cellular resolution in plant roots. We have a special focus on those that make the plant more resilient in extreme stresses.

I am in awe of their efforts, above&beyond, to enable our research community, to push things through, despite not knowing if they will have a job next week. They are TRUE community providers & heroes.

Hello bluesky friends! I'm excited to introduce myself. I go by (mee-gun) and am a proud #firstgen college grad that grew up in the midwest. My lab @UCDavis studies genetic drivers of human traits, evolution, and diseases, with an emphasis on neurodevelopment and complex variation. 1/10 (buckle up)
