Really excellent watch. I appreciate you touching on how pointless the CommuniCore West demolition was. EPCOT has suffered far, far worse casualties over the years, but that is by far the dumbest thing they have ever done to that park.

I feel like the entire attraction is as close to a total narrative failure as you can get. Nobody pays attention to the preshows, and even if you do, it’s so hard to pay attention to a complex narrative while overstimulated on a roller coaster. It definitely needs love whenever it gets redone.

Seeing this queue have constant issues years later is so funny because my instant gut reaction when I walked into Guardians for the first time was “Oh the entire second half of this queue is getting gutted and rebuilt next time they do something to this building”

To my friends who expected me there, I promise this wasn’t a decision that I made lightly. I was up late last night & early this morning trying to crunch numbers to see if I could make a last minute ticket happen but I just don’t have the money. I love you all dearly & will see you next time!!

Spending tonight thinking about my first RetroWDW event in that same venue eight years ago. Feels like a lifetime ago.

I visited this car so many times at Test Track…mine’s even the same color! Huge thank you to everyone who helped me with raising money for a down payment. It was very difficult to make happen but a lot of time, hunting, and determination made it a reality. I am so happy with it.

Test Track 3.0 soft opened to all guests today, marking a major milestone for EPCOT as its transportation pavilion becomes Future World's first to make it to a fourth incarnation.

That said, I want to take one last moment to talk about 2.0, one of EPCOT's most misunderstood attractions (link below)

It looks promising! I’m riding Sunday so I’m trying to dodge what I can, but what I’ve seen looks great. It’s actually topical for me because I’ve spent the last week in car shopping hell, on one hand I think that’s neat but on the other I don’t wanna think about cars anymore 😂😭

I have it set up in my bedroom right next to a big flatscreen TV that I never use, yet this little thing is getting used nightly. Idk what it is but there’s something cozy about it, and I don’t really have the greatest amount of nostalgia for CRTs either. Flatscreens took over before I was even 10.

Update on little TV! I tracked down an original remote for it on eBay, & once that arrived I was able to get into its service menu and calibrate a few issues with the picture. It’s still not perfect, but it’s working and looking great now!! Been using it for gaming and to watch old animated TV shows

I get that it’s trendy now and people want cheap film but it stuns me that anybody would buy these. You’re paying the same amount to develop a roll whether it’s 36 exposures or 10. Just pay the extra few dollars.

I don't think I'll ever get over losing the Rivers of America to greed. This corporation is now charging a family of four $800 for park entry, $1,600 for special snowflake expedited entry, and $50 for VIP parking that's still a mile and a lagoon away — all before the park even opens.
