Macau! Wolfram Rieger and I enjoyed performing Mahler for you yesterday evening! Today, we went out and did some more sight-seeing and had a great time 👍

Spending some time in Shenzhen, which is only an hour-long ferry ride across the Pearl River Delta from Macau! It's wonderful to be here, despite the high temperatures, and I'm truly looking forward to our Mahler recital later this week!

🎂 Happy Birthday to Giuseppe Verdi! From 'Simon Boccanegra' to 'Don Carlos' to 'Falstaff', his genius left us a treasure trove of high drama, great art, and damned good music.
