Anytime! Yeah, It was the only way I could think of to glaze the whole thing without ending up with glaze spikes from the stilts.

There’s a hole in the end of the stem so I could hang it in the kiln.

Correction! I use a community kiln so I don’t set it myself -and just learned that the two on the right were likely cone 6 with a 5min hold. So I guess the more cloudy look is from cone 5 and more glassy is cone 6

This glaze combo came out great. Very heavy coat of the textured Turquoise to start.

I burned my pinky and needed to keep it clean, so throwing was out, but I had some fun with hand building organic shapes and slip stenciling.

He was meant to be a toothbrush holder, but the holes are too thin. Now he menacingly holds a scissors. Try and take it if you dare.

I imagine all founders of world religions would cringe pretty hard at the organizations built up around their worship. It’s sad how grace is abandoned and hypocritical social policy is forged.
