Took the boy out for the Alex Pretti memorial ride. Had him ride my #TernGSD with the studded tires, and I rode my wife's #TernHSD, but turned out the streets were pretty clean. It was his first time pedaling himself for Bike Winter instead of being my passenger! We did about 15 miles in 22 degF.

Add in $150 a month for insurance, $100+ for fuel/fast charging, and $500 a year for maintenance.

You could buy a decent cargo e-bike ($1.5-5K) and 12 monthly transit passes ($1500?) if you lived in a livable community.
