I recently found out the reason why my grandfather/grandmother came to Canada in 1924/25 from Odessa, Russia, instead of Hamburg, Germany, where they were born and raised/lived was because of the Kapp Putsch and Ruhr Uprising. They had foresight to leave. I have premonition. Right wing terror.
