I want to correct error I made .I wrote that Congress has to vote after a shutdown to restore pay of furloughed workers. That was true in my time in office which ended in 2017. But a law was passed in 2019 to ensure federal workers all get paid after shutdown.

will eventually be paid once shutdown ends. Others
will need legislation passed by Congress
and signed by President to get pay. Congress has always done this, but I can’t predict what this congress or President will do.

House GOP vacationing with pay during shutdown,& news outlets report Trump playing golf. Meanwhile, hard-working Americans like air traffic controllers,TSA,park Rangers, & military etc. out of luck.
GOP: get back to work, fix the healthcare tax credits and open the government. Not that hard.

Simple point: Speaker Johnson delusional: running away from Washington to keep Epstein files quiet will not: 1. stop the Epstein files from eventually being aired &
2. will lead to Republicans getting totally blamed for shutdown because in a crisis, the last thing you do is go on vacation. Duh.

During shutdown Americans will see absolute insanity of Team Trump. They already saw them tell generals that the enemy is clear and it is us… we the People…and generals should try their methods of killing & violence on us in preparation for other missions. Public sentiment is about to save us.

GOP budget bill protects every billionaire’s huge tax cut, but they just don’t have time to protect healthcare for millions of Americans. wait till later? No, because ACA premiums need to be addressed now! tax cuts for billionaires yes tax credit credits for middle class no. Fix it.

shutdown fight: Dems want 2 simple things… Continue tax credits for ACA health insurance otherwise millions will lose coverage and assurance that approved spending will actually occur so we don’t see hospitals and clinics close,cancer research and other priorities stopped. Dems on the people’s side.

Trump talks incessantly about the golden decor at the White House and ballroom. He should know that the Bible consistently warns against showing off wealth instead of showing kindness. His religious advisors should remind him that destroying healthcare is not on the list of human kindness.

Which Epstein diversion to highlight? Well don’t we all feel so much safer as Trump sends troops to long time enemy of USA…Portland! & in case that causes headaches it’s great to know Trump put 100% tariff on some pharmaceutical products.

Attn MAGA: feeling healthier? Measles outbreak just surpassed 1500 cases after it was declared eradicated in 2000. From West Texas it moved to Arizona & Utah. One in five who gets measles will be hospitalized. This administration is a clear and present danger in so many ways!
