Apple's bluetooth connectivity and multi-device hand-off is *miles* better than any other headphones I've ever used. There's no competition. Not Google, not Bose, not Sony. Why is that?

The UI isn't as usable as I hoped it would be.

Partial prerendering in Next.js is great. Best of both worlds: instant prefetched static page loads, dynamic logged in user specific components streamed in, server rendered components that encapsulate their own data fetching.

Just need to speed up the dev server... 🙈

I also decided against native wind a while back, at the time it seemed like a medium term risk - being unable to upgrade on web because of a mobile dependency on shared components. Would love to hear more about the options here though.

Lost my internet connection for a few days due to a botched upgrade, so had to "go back to living like the ancestors", as a colleague put it.

You know, using public wifi in coffeeshops.

Now we have ATProto the enshittification of Twitter and Reddit (especially removing API access for developers that made those services so much better) could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to the social web.

Seeing Bluesky and ATProto activity ramping up puts a big smile on my face. 😁
