Pretty soon, the brown tabbies slinked off to the other end of the pen to “hide” in the litter box. 🙄

A work safety sign indicating the number of days since the last accident is repurposed to indicate how many days it’s been since I’ve had foster kittens. As it stands: 26 days. The official “Kitten Season” starts in March. You won’t see this sign again for another nine months.
Ya know how you place your hand on a railroad track to “feel” if a train is coming? I placed my hand on a bag of kitty litter today… The kittens are coming.
In this economic climate, Kitten Season will be brutal.
