Depends what time of year as many close for the winter, but here are some to consider: Black Canyon and Hyde Park outside of Santa Fe, Navajo Lake up North near the Colorado border, Holy Ghost (tough road) and Jack's Creek in the Pecos. In the summer seek trees and water to avoid baking!

If you don't see an escrow payment from your mortgage company, contact customer service to ask for assistance. If you see the payment there but not on the County website, just keep checking periodically. If it's not posted by early January, contact the Treasurer for assistance. 6/

If you have a mortgage it's likely your mortgage company is making your property tax payments for you. Login to the escrow section or your mortgage company website and you should be able to confirm the payment was made from your escrow account. 5/

If you own your home free and clear without a mortgage, you are responsible for making your payment or you can arrange a payment plan with the County. So if you haven't done either of those things, then it's likely time for you to make the payment directly. 4/

If your first half taxes have not been paid, don't panic! The Treasurer is inundated with payments at this time of year and it takes time for all those payments to be processed and applied to the correct property account. 3/

They also have a controller that attaches to a hose bib so I can run a system that way if I don’t have an entire in-ground system set up or there’s an area not covered by the existing system. 9/

I can set schedules to run based on certain dates so the system can automatically move from a spring to summer schedule just based on the calendar date. Or, to ensure my irrigation system is always off before the first freeze I set the schedule to end safely before the anticipated first freeze. 8/

I can name my zones with descriptive long names, e.g. trees to right of driveway, and take photos of the area covered by the zone. 7/
