A really awful MS Paint drawing of various devices connected together. It is incomprehensible, but basically shows the PS4 controller being used as the audio output for the console, with the Elgato Chat Link Pro allowing that audio to be split between a headset and another device, such as a PC. A capture device is also being used to pipe the PS4's video output both to a PC for streaming and to a monitor for real-time viewing.

An Elgato "Chat Link Pro." It is a small audio device, one headset wire leading to a small rectangular box, which then has two other wires to send that signal elsewhere.

Looking to get one of these. Since I'm on console streaming through my PC, and PS4 won't do multiple audio outputs, I need this to be able to hear/chat thru my headset in game while also still sending audio to OBS for broadcast. I'll set up a separate PC mic for stream commentary/chat.

Been playing more Warzone, and I'm really starting to like it. It's got a very different feel, movement-wise, to PUBG or Fortnite. Spectating through to the ends of matches, it's almost like Apex in how important movement is.

I think I'll start streaming it soon, once I buy some audio equipment.

I think these executives look at the few winners in the genre, see that Fortnite makes 4 billion annually, and think "well, as long as we didn't lose 4 billion, we're still ahead!" and spin the wheel again hoping for the big payday.

I wish people would come to understand transphobia as systemic, structural, and pervasive so we could stop treating transphobia as explicitly limited to people saying "I hate trans people" and accept the way our society conditions us all to dismiss, diminish, and dehumanize trans people.

Played my first ever match of Warzone last night, on PS4. It's pretty fun! This game might finally be what I'm looking for to scratch that battle royale itch, at least until I can afford a PS5 or a better PC to play PUBG again.

(I'll install it on my PC tonight to see how/if it runs there.)

Trans issues aside, your contention is a paper's OP section should be a open forum where all ideas can be fairly heard. That's not a terrible ideal, but when an opinion section so frequently carries water for an overtly lawless administration, is it really about fairness, or is it demonstrated bias?

I certainly wouldn't keep publishing very specific lies (that have been repeatedly shown to contradict all medical, scientific, and statistical evidence) against a marginalized population, especially not in numbers grossly exceeding any pieces defending said population. Again, maybe that's just me.

The word "sometimes" doing a lot of heavy lifting in that post.

But then, the phrase "reality-eschewing" is weird considering it describes so well the content from said aforementioned conservatives. If I ran a paper, I'd try to not publish lies just to be "bipartisan," but maybe that's just me.
