Yep. The GBC was my first console ever 😊
The GBC has slight gaps between the pixels on its screen, causing a grid effect somewhat similar to this. Same applies to the Chromatic by ModRetro.

I've made a pixel grid overlay to make videos and screenshots from my games look more retro.

Already used it in my last post. But still not entirely sure whether it's just an unnecessary distraction 🤔
