TBC according to the wording from Krafton they weren't axed, they left voluntarily despite attempts to keep them. Unclear why thats the case atm.

Its so painful that its the default roguelike progression mechanism. I just filter those out when deciding what demos to try at this point

I wasnt sure what to expect from Deliver At All Costs but it was a lot of fun! Very satisfying to just smash into everything and watch it crumble. Surprisingly compelling writing and voice acting as well, and the vibe was a fun parody of atomic era idealism

Im one of those that believe they can get there. Theres a strong, compelling foundation, but a lot like Helldivers 2 before its big difficulty redesign, the numbers just arent right. All the improvements so far have been in the right direction, and Im eager to see how the game evolves going forward

Yeah, many f2p game mechanics are primarily in service of monetization and not player experience. In theory, I think any of those mechanics can be refactored to work in a non-f2p version using a DLC model or non-gameplay microtransactions for longer term support of a long form game

Trackmania has maybe the best creator scene of any game. People have been cooking hard since TMNF in 2008. There are tons of community made custom blocks out there, and you can even import a map made entirely in a 3d modeling software. Incredibly vibrant scene.

The Exo Rally Championship demo is incredible. As a follow up to Exo One, I was not expecting a rally game with this much mechanical and vehicle tuning complexity. This is sim racer levels of technical, in a sci-fi rally game. And in a high hazard level stage, its a trully harrowing experience
