Listening to the news in despair. Listening to my children coming up with better solutions to welcoming those in need than our politicians. Seriously considering cancelling my membership of the Labour Party 😞

Three cracking novels read this week on holiday - don’t read for pleasure enough determined to do this more ❤️

Equally loving that she has told him in response to surprise being hard just send her for a walk or to church as a decoy because it turns out she thinks I want it at home

Loving the surprise party my 11 year old is planning for my 50th she is very bright but not sure she gets the definition of secret!! When challenged she tells me the friend she is planning with has told her some of it has to be about me. It won’t be!

I read a whole novel in one day on Tuesday and half way through another. Hardly ever get time to read for pleasure in ministry or too exhausted to do so. I love reading and what a cracking couple of novels

When you haven’t been on a holiday away for 2 years for significant and difficult reasons and the moment has come!! 🙏❤️

When the day that turned to night before was so good you get home without your phone!! Wonderful time with the most wonderful of friends and bonus coffee and chat on phone retrieval! ❤️
