I’ve made a great discovery! Ok, not in the Columbus/Einstein realm, but I’ve found a pub called The Pocket in Islington. What a gem!! Great cask and keg selection, and on my visit today I’ve enjoyed very well kept beers from @burtonbridgebrew.bsky.social, Howling Hops, and Pretty Decent.

So I made it to @stirchleywines.bsky.social yesterday and they did me proud. I took away a selection from @burtonbridgebrew.bsky.social to sample.

What a beautiful trio of pints 🍺

A pint of Heritage brewing company 1909 Manchester bitter that has been served in a branded glass of a brewery that also makes a beer called Manchester Bitter. The condition is incredible and it has a healthy head of foam.

Every beer I have from @burtonbridgebrew.bsky.social and @heritagebrewingco.bsky.social leaves me smiling ear to ear, and this is no different. So understated and yet somehow so flavourful and characterful. Condition by @heatonhops.bsky.social
