On Sonorii, Calliope was a mere sound artist, creating visual pieces out of manipulating tonica. But aboard Voyager, her emotions drove her to pursue strength above all else, and with what little Sonorean tonica the ship offered, she managed to become purified within the span of a single year.

The superworld Sonorii, Calliope's homeworld, was inhabited by the most powerful mages in the universe. Some experienced mages were capable of creating matter or even life via composing hyper complex harmonic structures, or even freezing time around them in place by matching its resonant frequency.

Collapsing onto the crumbling ground beneath her, Calliope cried out in agony before passing out. As she came to, she slowly realized she was in an ICU, her body hooked up to various beeping machines. An unsettlingly content voice from an android greeted her with the phrase "Welcome to Voyager."

Calliope knelt down and held a hand out towards her, the intensifying atmosphere of space flowing between the broken ground. As Kyia jumped to meet her sister's hand, Calliope could only watch as her sister's form rose up like smoke, carried away as if an invisible boundary had formed between them.

Ignoring orders from her palmgrid to board an evacuation ship, Calliope shouted her sister's name repeatedly, attempting to amplify her voice tonically, but her mental state made the attempt feeble. Below her on a small shard of severed land, she saw Kyia calling out "CALLIE!" running towards her.

As she demanded answers, her objective was silenced as the ground the Sonoreans stood on began to crumble; shifting and fracturing, opening up rifts and fissures that sent thousands upon thousands of Sonoreans to their demise. Calliope's focus immediately shifted to saving younger sister, Kyia.

On the day of the cataclysm, Calliope and her husband, Brio, the Commander Elect of Sonorii, were set to be sworn in, marking the end of an extensive and heinous regime. However, Calliope appeared alone, and the people of Sonorii revolted, and Calliope grew frustrated at her husband's absence.

This being is capable of splitting itself into infinitely many iterations and entities, whilst all sharing the same hivemind. In tandem with Evralie, another energy source, these beings maintained the stability of the superworld Sonorii, until one day, these two beings were repelled violently.

Sevirox (a.k.a The Rot), a sentient manifestation of silence, resides upon Volgrana, restrained by a network of obelisks. This being originates from the world Sonorii, unleased as a result of its demise. It is said that contact with this creature causes people to suffer immensely upon hearing music.
