Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

This is identical to Russia invading Ukraine. Illegally invading a country for their resources and likely killing thousands—if not more—is immoral and should not be supported by anyone with any shred of moral conscience.

Republicans and Democrats are standing together, clearly saying that Members of Congress should not be able to trade stocks.

We get sensitive, classified information. We should be trusted with that to help our constituents, not pad our wallets.
