Most telling part of this rant: That the war will go on until "we decide it is over," not until the aims of the war are achieved - because there are no stated aims; and Trump prefers having none, so any result will allow him to try to claim a "win."

You know that scene in Trainspotting where Spud shits the bed, and wakes up just covered in his mess so he tries to cover it up? Then he ends up flinging the crap all over everyone while they're eating breakfast? That's what the Trump administration reminds me of.

The 'Turkish Tylenol' debacle reaches its expected end.
Alberta paid $70m to Sam Mraiche's MH Care Medical to import this medicine from Turkey, at a drastically inflated price, as a stunt to outdo the feds during a supply shortage. By the time any of it arrived, the shortage was already over.

Let that sink in.
We heat concrete boxes for cars while people are left outside to freeze.

A year-long investigation led by London police has resulted in more than 200 charges laid against 11 people, the seizure of 31 guns and 12.5 kilograms of fentanyl — enough to kill one quarter of London's population, police say.
As part of its investigation into increasing gun violence last fall, the London Police Service (LPS) launched Project ALIAS in January 2025, in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
"What began as a local concern quickly revealed criminal activity that crossed jurisdictions and extended beyond our borders," said LPS Chief Thai Truong.
