As an Agronomist harvest time is always the best. Wheat harvest a few years ago in the Arkansas Delta. Off loading grain on the move so the combine doesn't have to stop. #Arkansasagriculture #agriculture #arkansasfarming #arkansas #wheatharvest #agriculture #farming #wheat #agronomy #farmers

16.04.2025 02:06 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sometimes failures actually become some of my favorite photos because they remind me you canβt always win or control wildlife. I loved these two photos.
10.04.2025 02:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is how you know you are a bird photographer. Because it happens. Kind of like loving wildlife photography and having a folder named βbuttsβ. Which encompasses animal butts as the flee exactly a split second before you push the shutter or focus on them.
10.04.2025 02:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Farmers donβt need tariffs they need fair price and free trade. They arenβt asking for a βbank type bail outβ they are asking for fair pricing. They want to be able to sell commodities to the highest bidder for fair prices. They donβt want tariffs they need Canadian Potash! We donβt produce enough.
07.04.2025 20:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Our farm has been in my family for over 100 years as has a lot of family farms. We rely on growers now to farm the ground for us but my family does it on shares (we get part of the yields as payment) instead of cash rent. Bad years we all share the downside. We arenβt large rich farmers or owners
07.04.2025 17:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not all of us with family farms voted for him. a new farm bill is needed as input prices have outpaced commodity prices. Also if farmers go under and have to sell cheap then that opens the doors to foreign companies to own our farm land and dictate what we can and cannot grow. We donβt need that.
07.04.2025 17:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Peaceful scene! I love it.

05.04.2025 13:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0White blooms on cotton plant in late summer. An unopened cotton boll can be seen in the middle between the two white blooms. Cotton blooms will open the first day as a white bloom and the second day they will turn a bright pink. As the cotton matures the boll developed and the blooms fall off. Cotton bolls will then open in the fall as what everyone recognizes as cotton with the fiber being exposed as white.
Cotton blooms in summer. An immature cotton boll can be seen between them. Arkansas still grows cotton and it is still an important fiber crop. #arkansascotton #arkansas #cotton #cottonbloom #agriculture #arkansasagriculture
