I wish it were true that "no one is above the law". But while the City of London acts as laundromat for the world's dirty money, as almost all fraud and waste crime go unprosecuted, as no one has gone to jail for the financial crash or the poisoning of our rivers, this is manifestly untrue.

New Housing estate constructed by β€˜Latimer by Clarion Housing group’ called The Cocoa works - on the site of the old Rowntree Factory in York. Before the estate was built, this path never flooded… it floods every year now ☹️

Sorry to sit on the fence but I think you’re both right! It IS a load of people messing around & sliding but they do it with such style ⛸️. Besides, the greatest sport of all (cricket obvs!) is similarly just a load of people messing around with bat and ball - but they do it so spectacularly! 🏏

He is correct, education, be it academic, vocational or hands-on (apprenticeships) benefits society. This country has, over the decades, placed less value on education in my opinion.

Abolish all fee paying educational institutions and fund them adequately. This is how a real meritocracy looks.
