Every few years, I go to the top of the Kings Island Eiffel Tower to see if I still hate being up this high. I still do.

Ha ha be right there. It’s only … an ocean away.

This isn’t unusual or anything. They do it nearly every night for at least part of the night, but it’s really touching me tonight.

My cats are sleeping next to me and it’s so precious I could cry.

Dang. I should try this.

This fruit cup, labeled as a “cup of strawberries,” and listing its ingredients as “strawberries, blueberries, and grapes,” but not containing any grapes, is an epistemological nightmare.

Four loads of laundry, dishwasher,
some handwashed dishes, laid down more shelf paper in the cupboards. Acquired a workbench, stepstool, and some other sundries. Checked in on my friend’s cats. Still endlessly more to do, but it progresses.

It kicks in around 3:45, hangs out for about 25 seconds, and is gone. I never thought of Lynyrd Skynyrd as the kind of band to use a Mellotron, much less for only 5% of a song.

I held the door for a little old lady with a walker today and she said “you are a delightful person.”

It’s wild how they bothered to have a mellotron in “Freebird” for like two bars and that’s it.
