I made the mistake of looking at my stock portfolio today, and noticed this: It’s been quite a rocky year so far for the US stock indexes. Yesterday was no exception.

I gave up online games and such and instead I spend 10 to 15 minutes a day on Italian for my next trip to Italy.

I can tell it’s paying off, too, because I’m reading fewer subtitles while watching Italian tv shows on PBS Passport.

I should have done this while my nonna was still alive.

Mine was potato.

I guess this means my year will be full of comfort food.
