We presented a "semantic mapper" PoC for common band names with Zarr data ⤵️

AI for Earthquake Response Challenge in a nutshell:

✅Gain access to a curated archive of multi-mission, HR satellite imagery
✅ Build machine learning models for rapid identification of post-earthquake building damage
✅ Contribute to the Charter Mapper evolutions

The ESA Φ-lab and the International Charter ‘Space and Major Disasters’ invite you to join the AI for Earthquake Response Challenge, still open for registrations, for a launch on 4th July 2025.

Last week at #LPS25 in Vienna, we've announced the ESA Φ-lab challenge (philab.esa.int/challenges) on Earthquakes.

Winning models will gain visibility in open-science forums and may be considered for integration into the ESA Charter Mapper.
