that's why like. harm reduction. what can i do to make it more difficult for ai to encroach on my life? can i shut off ai chat bots? can i do my own research? can i draw my own thing? its not going to get rid of llms, but i can do my best to work without them consciously.

also to make it clear: i do not like llms. i do not defend their usage. i actively clown on people who write their emails with them. but i would also be clowning on myself if i didn't think that i wasn't using ai in some shape or form in my daily life, subconsiously or not.

also like. most people who are living right now have used machine learning in their life. current ai trends are Bad but ai is older then you think. so yes u have use an ai technology congrats. now its up to you to figure out use it wisely, ethically, do the least amount of harm.

i wanna have hope and optimism for the people living under fascism. i believe in the everyday folk who do not represent their governments. if there is any good about the internet that we didn't have in the 1930's is that i can hear them loudly. and i cherish their existence with profound gratitude.

it feels dangerously close to 1939 here. the reality is that the second cold war began in 2013 and we're having a hard time acknowledging the regression. mostly because we are also feeding into the nationalism in a bad way.
